Ryan shares some thoughts on the value of patience in life. Recognizing the that today is only a second in the marathon of life. Keep going. Choose your thoughts. Point your thoughts in the direction of your dreams and move forward. Be Patient, Be Present, Be Joyful.
"The coming month shall bring winds of change to your life." No matter how many times Ryan reads this, it is always true. That is what this week's episode is about.
So I've recently started a PodCast with one of my best friends and colleagues Theresa Horezga and I'd love for you to check it out and let me know your thoughts. Here's Episode #2 where we introduce ourselves a bit and talk about Gratitude!
We'll see you on the other side!
I've recently been asked to contribute an article on Live Lead Play based on some of my experience as a coach working with musicians. If you have 5 or 6 extra minutes, I'd love for you to take a look and give me your thoughts. If you find it 'like' or share worthy, please feel free to show the post some love from within the Live Lead Play website itself. Thanks for your time in advance!
Ryan was recently interviewed by the Manhattan based Cable TV show ‘Coach World TV‘
As I mentioned in one of my first posts, I’m a fan of The Biography Channel. Interestingly enough, I find myself watching it most often when I’m getting dressed and ready to start my day. What I love about Bio, is that it’s a constant reminder that everyone ends up somewhere different from where they began. Most celebrities (whether, musicians, actors, politicians etc.) have a story, that’s obviously why I’m watching them on the Bio channel to begin with. While some are ‘born famous’, most are not.
Humans worry. In fact, I’d be willing to bet that a majority of us spend more time worrying about our past and our future then we do feeling excited about the present and the future. We worry about our health. We worry about our finances. We worry about something that we might have said, and we worry about what we feel like we should have said. During a recent discussion on this particular topic with one of my coaching clients I found myself developing what I now call ‘The Doc Brown Theory’.
How come you never see the title of this blog post as an ad on Craigslist or in major music publications? The answer seems obvious, but for some reason many artists feel like it should be that easy. Technically it can be that easy, but the truth is,there are millions of young artists being created every day. Some are going to be on a journey that takes them to the pinnacles of success and others will end up somewhere else.
For those of you who are following along, a couple of weeks back I wrote a blog about the guys who have a show on the History Channel called American Pickers and how their formula for success can be useful in the life of an up and coming Musician or Band. If you haven’t read that yet, you can find it here.
Admittedly, I don’t watch too much television. When I do, it’s generally one of five channels. (Though, I do have a healthy Netflix habit which includes complete seasons of several television shows on their own special que)
